Who sold Vallejo Hotel?

BULL’S HIT
Rudy Garcia

As this year 2009 ends and bids goodbye, I treasure fond memories and try to forget the bad ones but the Maguindanao massacre where colleagues were mercilessly killed is a bad memory that is not easy to forget.

The declaration of martial law in the province is also a question that has not been justified. It is an issue that keeps on hanging around the head but the matter is now moot and academic because of its lifting.

Thanks to the spin master, the queen was saved by the bell on the arena of legal poundings. But the thought of public judgment stays in the head of every Juan or Pedro that keep on asking why Malacañang declared martial rule when we have a standard rule to follow in capturing and placing those responsible for the massacre behind bars.

Is there a failure of the administration to administer what is supposed to be administered the reason why they find it now difficult to kill those monsters they created?

I happened to meet a close friend a lawyer doctor who arrived from Maguindanao who told me the story of what transpired in the massacre. He said media practitioners are the favorite victims of killings in that province. I’m still thankful I was not there, but if the Ampatuans would be here in the province of our kailyans, surely, they could be the Ampaw-tun-ah.

I was stunned by the report of my bubwit that the former Vallejo Hotel property in Baguio City was sold to a certain Roobling Corp. by Mayor Reynaldo Bautista, Jr, retired Environment regional director Peñaflor and a certain “Atienza.

If this report is true, how come and how? I was told that this property was under study by the city council to be declared as and preserved as heritage site but then, it was “sold.” Is this another scandal after the questionable titling of Forbes Park?

Accordingly, construction is ongoing inside the premises of the hotel at night time to avoid public knowledge but our source said they cold hear sounds that there is really construction going on at nighttime. The supervisor on duty is reportedly a certain Simon Lee Cunanan.

Perhaps, it could also be true that the papers, MOA or Deed of Sale in particulars are in the hands of a certain Atty. Giovanni Cruz, whose office address is Sta. Cruz, Manila.

Ano kaya sey dito ni Mayor Bautista considering he is vying for a congressional seat? Ano rin sey ng Baguio City council or are they pretending to be bulag pipi at bingi? For what reason? Only they would know, after all election time is just around the corner and they badly need campaign funds! He! He! He! True orfalse?

Maybe this peryahan cum pasugalan at the slaughter house, Sto. Niño Barangay in Baguio is “untouchable” the reason why authorities don’t dare touch this illegal gambling activity of a certain “Arthur” of Arlins Entertainment Corp, even if this color game and drop ball are just a few meters away from the Sto. Niño barangay multi-purpose hall and office.

Did the BCPO Station 2 and Sto. Niño Barangay have some arrangement with this illegal gambling den? May cashsunduan ba? And what about our city officials at City Hall? Are they also on the take?

Take you guess but this peryahan cum pasugalan of King Arthur continues to operate without any bulabog. Will the pasugalan transfer to another place in Lower Magsaysay come January next year? Am I right BCPO director Supt. Agrifino Javier and regional CIDG chief Moises Guevarra?
