BAGUIO CITY - Roberto Soriano, police office officer-in-charge here said a shortlist has been submitted to the police headquarters in Camp Crame for evaluation before submission to Mayor Mauricio Domogan for assessment.
Soriano said appointment papers of the chosen one will later be submitted to the National Police Commission for processing.
Soriano said two in the list are from the Cordillera but he declined to identify the nominees.
According to a source, included in the list are Senior Supt. Ernesto Gaab and Charlo Collado, former Abra police provincial director, and Laoag City OIC Benjamin Lusad.
The city directorship was vacated following the filing of indefinite leave by former city director Agripino Javier.
