This was the second project the group received from the congressman. They were also recipients of a meat processing livelihood project , which she said, was successful and progressing.

Regino bared the group intends to use some of the gains from the meat processing to buy feeds to sustain their pig production project, which would eventually provide their supply for the meat processing.

CDO Chief of Staff Engr. Samuel Bayangan said such projects are being prioritized for funding from the congressman’s Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) aiming to make better the lives of the Kalinga people. Efforts he said are also being exerted to acquire more funds from various national agencies to support the various development programs of the province.

Towards this goal, Bayangan encouraged the group to actively do their part in advancing their organizations maximizing the utilization of their financial assistance as a way of contributing to the development of livestock production of the province.

CDO administrative officer Alberto Dawaton, also encouraged the three recipient organizations to work together to ensure the success of their venture and conduct regular meetings for updating, planning and review of their financial statements to ensure the smooth flow of their livelihood endeavor.
