P48M set for MP health stations

BONTOC, Mountain Province — The Department of Health has poured some P48 million into the upgrading of Barangay Health Stations (BHS) and hospitals in the province to effectively and efficiently improve the delivery of basic health care services.

Provincial Health Team Leader Claudio Pancho said the upgrading of health facilities is in line with of the government’s programs to bring quality health services to the countryside.

Programmed for upgrading for this year are four BHS in the municipality of Sadanga, two each in Natonin and Bontoc; three each in Paracelis, Barlig, Sabangan, and Sagada; five each in Besao and Tadian, and six in Bauko.

  1. manen milyones-milyones almost every year nga adda pagbibingayan dagita nakatugaw. for almost 40 years now I could not see any improvement especially the only province general hospital at bontoc, services, rooms, beds for the patients, equipments and the expertise of the medical team-all these forget it. please visit the hospital as you can see only the new small building at the back..for all those money poured for it. :-(
