Galleon said P300,000 was allocated for enterprise development, another P300,000 for organic agriculture program and P400,000 for the Provincial Veterinary Office.
The funding allocation for enterprise development was to provide facilities and materials, skills training and capability and institutional development activities to prop up potential organizations who want to engage themselves on entrepreneurial programs or projects, Galleon said.
The enterprise program was one of Baguilat’s pet programs when he was the governor and now being supported by the current administration of Gov. Eugene Balitang through the Office of Provincial Agriculturist RaymundoBahatan.
In keeping with the thrust on good governance, Balitang and Baguilat have insinuated in various occasions that government assistance to organizations should be given to potential organizations who want to help themselves to become entrepreneurs.
The program seeks to alleviate poverty in the province by raising the income of household members, generate employment and improve capabilities of the target organizations.
