BAYAMBANG, Pangasinan -- The suspect in the killing of the police chief of this town and his wife is now in jail after surrendering to police.
Supt. Rolie Saltat, city police chief, said they would file double murder charges against Lyndon Millan, 41, elder brother of Supt. Lloyd Millan, 39, who together with his wife Cherryl, 39, was gunned down Oct. 30 in a barangay hall here.
Saltat said he and Mayor Hernani Braganza had received text messages from the suspect, who works at the Public Order and Safety Office in the city hall, for his surrender, several hours after the incident.
Saltat said Lyndon told him that he did not regret killing his own brother and sister-in-law.
Lloyd had reportedly been at odds with his parents and siblings due to a dispute involving their family's salt farm.
