Miner surrenders pistol to police

LACUB, Abra – A small scale miner voluntarily surrendered a Cal .38 pistol to police here last week.

A police report identified the miner as Faustino Donato, 39 who gave up his firearm to Lacub police headed by Senior Insp. Alones Carame Jr.

Alos present during the turnover on Aapril 4 were barangay chief Alejandro Ferraren of Barangay Poblacion and barangay officials and small scale miners of Sitio Agamid, Poblacion.
