SAN ESTEBAN, Ilocos Sur -- A Chinese man from Hong Kong was killed while his driver was seriously wounded in an ambush by motorcycle-riding gunmen here before dawn last Monday, police said.
Reports
identified the victim as Wu Ye, who arrived in the country last May 22 and his
injured driver as Carlos Uy, 49, a Pasay City resident.
Senior
Supt. Noel Amoyen, Ilocos Sur police director, said probers were still
investigating the motive behind the ambuscade.
