2 nabbed with P.15M dry marijuana bricks



TABUK CITY, Kalinga -- Two suspected marijuana pushers were arrested by joint anti-narcotics agents and law enforcers for possession of 5.5 kilos of dried marijuana bricks worth  P137,500 while on board a  passenger jeepney at a police checkpoint in here at Purok 5, Bulanao around 11:15 a.m. on Nov. 3.

Chief Supt. Benjamin B. Magalong, regional police director identified the two arrested persons as Alfonso Salabao Solog,   22, and Ngayaan OggasTalasyong, 23;both residents of Tulgao East, Tinglayan town in the province.

The suspects were on board  a green passenger vehicle bound to Tabuk City coming from Tinglayan municipality driven by Macario Lagasi Edas.

 Joint elements of the 3RD Regional Public Safety Battalion led by Senior Insp. John B. Cayat JR, Kalinga Provincial Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operations Task Group, and Kalinga Police Provincial Intelligence Branch led by PSI Larry Nadiahan Pingkihan seized from the arrested suspected marijuana pushers 11 bricks of dried marijuana leaves weighing approximately 5.5 kilos placed inside two backpacks.
