LINGAYEN, Pangasinan —
Twenty-seven lovely candidates for Miss Earth and the pageant’s organizer have
visited Pangasinan and found it “clean province whose leaders and people are
environment-conscious.”
Paulo Relucio,
executive producer of Carousel Productions, said there is no better choice than
Pangasinan to hold various segments of the Miss Earth pageant.
“We wish to stay
longer as we, especially the candidates, have enjoyed our stay here in
Pangasinan,” Relucio said.
Tamarind Michelle
Jardin, representative of South Africa, said, “We had an incredible experience
that will be treasured for the rest of our lives, the people are very warm and
the environment is clean.”
She said the beach
clean-up was the most enjoyable part of their stay.
Philippine
representative Stephany Dianne Stefanowitz testified to the wonderful
experience that Pangasinan offered each one of the candidates and hailed
leadership of Governor Amado T. Espino, Jr. as well as the people’s
participation in making the province clean and orderly.
