VIGAN CITY – A 28-year-old woman suffered
seven stab wounds in different parts of the body when she resisted a rape
attempt by a 33-year-old man.
Police identified the suspect as Rolando
Garcia, a resident of Barangay 3 this city, who is at large.
Investigation showed that the suspect went to
the boarding house where the victim was staying, and attacked her with a knife
when she resisted his sexual advances.
Police are still
tracking Garcia.
