Number coding suspended:Panagbenga highlights set; tourists flock to Baguio

BAGUIO CITY – As tourists flocked here, highlights of the  19thPanagbenga or the Baguio Flower Festival kicked off here this weekend with the Grand Street Parade and  Grand Float Parade with Marching Band competition while Session Road in Bloom will open Feb. 24  until  March 2.

To accommodate visitors, the number coding scheme for private vehicles was suspended last week including Feb. 24 and 25.

Mayor Mauricio G. Domoganin Administrative Order No. 020, suspended the number coding scheme for private vehicles only.

 The mayor said there was need to suspend the number coding scheme for private vehicles in the city to  allow  residents and visitors   to enjoy and have a stress-free journey.

Earlier, the city hosted the  annual alumni homecoming of the Philippine Military Academy  on  Feb. 13 to 16 .

Domogan also directed personnel of the  Baguio City Police Office  to extend  assistance to the public for the identification of appropriate parking spaces for huge number of vehicles in the city on said dates
