TAGUDIN, Ilocos Sur – A vault containing
almost P300,000 in cash was stolen from a gasoline station and found abandoned
here last week.
Police
Officer 3 Adolfo Mina said the robbers decided to abandon the vault after they
failed to open it.
The vault,
owned by a SeaOil gasoline station, was found under a pile of hay at a rice
field in Barangay Libtong.
Mina said
the crime laboratory was examining fingerprints lifted from the vault to
identify the robbers.
