Nueva Vizcaya – Eight houses were destroyed in a fire that broke out in
Barangay Poblacion here Aug. 2.
Mayor Ramon Cabauatan said the fire, which
started at about 1:50 p.m., gutted three business establishments and houses
mostly made of light materials.
Cabauatan said firefighters had difficulty
putting out the flames, which quickly spread to nearby houses and
establishments.

Danilo Cachero said residents failed to save their belongings.
No one was reported killed or injured in the
blaze.
Authorities have yet to determine the cause
of the fire and the amount of damage.
