BONTOC,
Mountain Province – Rep. Maximo B. Dalog and provincial Highways district
engineer Wilbur B. Likigan led inauguration of completed infrastructure
projects Nov 16 and 17.
The Caluttit Bridge’s inauguration Monday was attended by barangay and town officials with Likigan
acknowledging cooperation of local folks during construction of the bridge.
The Caluttit Bridge was contracted by JJJ-A
Construction and Supplies with a contract amount of P 4,891,398.64.
On Tuesday, the Wala-Bunot-Tawang
farm-to-market road and San Rafael Multi-Purpose Building, both in Paracelis
town were also inaugurated and turned over to Paracelis Mayor Gavino L. Bucok.
Through Dalog, construction of the
Wala-Bunot-Tawang road in Bacarri, Paracelis was funded by the Department of
Agriculture.
It was done by provincial DPWH to Upland
Construction and Engineering Services/Kuatako Construction and General
Contractor through joint venture with contract amount of P31,815,971.46. The
project, with a length of 3.845 km was completed August 9.
Funds for the construction of San Rafael
Multi-Purpose Building in Bananao, Paracelis was included in the 2015 General
Appropriations Act (GAA) under the Local Infrastructure Program. The provincial
DPWH contracted the project with Bentrix Builders with contract amount of
P3,321,636.25.
In his message, Dalog reminded the end-users
to protect the structure and to consider it as their own.
Likigan turned over the completed
Wala-Bunot-Tawang road and San Rafael MPB to municipal government of Paracelis.
