TUGUEGARAO CITY – Two
persons, including a village chairman, died while four others were injured in
separate vehicular mishaps in Sta. Maria and Cabagan towns, both in Isabela
Feb. 16.
Village chief Joseph
Callueng, 46, of Barangay Valbuena died at the scene while councilmen Federico
Mendoza Jr., 31, and Perfecto Lubo, 38, were taken to the Elven Masigan
Hospital for treatment.
Case investigator
Police Officer 3 Samson Canceran said the victims came from a meeting with a
mayoralty candidate when their tricycle rolled over at around 10 p.m.
In Cabagan, Edward
Tandayu died while his companion Ramil Vinasoy was injured when their
motorcycle collided with a tricycle driven by Jimmy Valiente in Barangay Ugad.
Valiente and Vinasoy
were rushed to the Milagros District Hospital for treatment.
