UEA men nabbed for rape, drugs in John Hay


BAGUIO CITY – Two United Arab Emirates nationals were arrested here Tuesday in Camp John  Hay for violation of Republic Act 9165 and “trafficking in person.”
A police report identified the suspects as Abdelrahman Mohamed Rashid Mansouri Alsuaidi, 33, Dubai municipal inspector and Waleed Shamlan Mohamed Shamlan Alshuweihi, 46.
Polie investigation disclosed the security manager of Manor Hotel, Jose Victor Trinidad went to Room No. 220 to verify complaint of three females wherein two were minors for  alleged human trafficking claiming they were induced by the above suspects to smoke marijuana.
One of the victims also alleged that she was raped by one of the suspects.
Trinidad reported the incident to police who went to the room and found a pack of Marlboro cigarettes containing nine plastic sachets filled with dried marijuana leaves.
Inquest prosecutor Maria Nenita A. Opiana, barangay kagawad Eduardo Macaraeg of Scout Barrio and Merry Ann Wandas of Bombo Radio witnessed inventory of pieces of evidence.
