BURGOS,
Isabela -- – A mother allegedly strangled to death her three children here
Wednesday night.
Senior
Insp. Randy Cabaddu, Burgos police chief, said they took custody of Marilyn
Foronda after her children Adam McWane, 3; Stephen Dane, 2, and three-month-old
Shansa Sara were found dead Thursday.
Foronda’s
seven-year-old child, who managed to escape, told police that her mother
strangled her siblings one after another while they were sleeping at their
house in Barangay Caliguian.
Foronda’s
husband, a seaman, left to work abroad three months ago.
The
neighbors of Foronda said she could be suffering from post-natal depression or
the feeling of anxiety, guilt, irritability and anger, including suicidal
thoughts and desire to harm her baby and other people.
They
said the suspect had been alone in her house and refused to talk to anyone,
including her in-laws, since she gave birth.
