BAGUIO CITY – Two Baguio
based bodybuilders and another two judokas won top events in recent
international competitions.
In the recently
concluded Global Classic bodybuilding championship held in Hong Kong last April
16-17, 2019, Reynaldo Domalsin bagged
the overall championship in the international bodybuilding competition aside
from winning the championship in the 80-kg category of the competition.
Ceasar M. Lukines placed
fourth in the 80-kilogram category of the 2-day bodybuilding competition.
The Global Classic
bodybuilding championship is sanctioned by the International Federation of
Bodybuilding and Fitness, the governing body of all bodybuilding competitions
conducted in the different parts of the global village.
Domalsin, who is a
member of the Domalsin family known as bodybuilding enthusiasts, bested
competitions from 12 other countries to take home the coveted championship
crown of the said competition.
The local government is
expected to give Domalsin and Lukines its
commendation.
This, as two
Baguio-based judokas shared the limelight in the recently concluded Penang judo
championships in Penang, Malaysia last April 27-28.

Pauly won the gold in the 57-kilogram category while Seth Theodore A. Pineda
was able to bring home the bronze medal in the 73-kilomgram category.
The local government
extended financial assistance to the judokas for their participation in the
prestigious international judo competition.
Pauly has been a
consistent medallist in previous local, regional, national and international
competitions while Pineda is also a consistent medallist in various judo
competitions that had been held locally and abroad over the past several years.
Baguio city continues to
be a major producer of international calibre athletes in combative sports which
had brought honor and pride to the city for their achievements that had served
as inspiration to young and upcoming athletes to replicate or exceed their
achievements.
