BAGUIO CITY -- Five
persons including two foreigners were nabbed by police for illegal drugs and
firearms here.
In Baguio City, a
certain Bryner Filog Tagtag, 32, of M. Roxas Street, Baguio City and
native of Bontoc, Mt. Province was arrested here Tuesday long Philippine Postal
Loop, Barangay Salud Mitra, after he allegedly sold a sachet of shabu to a cop
who posed as a buyer.
Confiscated
from him were, two sachets of suspected shabu, marijuana leaves, drug
paraphernalia and a Yamaha Mio motorcycle including P8,000.
Another
search warrant issued by Judge Mervin Jovito S. Samadan of RTC Branch 70,
1st Judicial Region Burgos, Pangasinan led to the arrest of Helen
Rivera Binay-An, 54, farmer inside her residence at Pias, Camp 7, Baguio City
Thursday morning.
Reportedly
found in her possession were 44 bullets, two magazines for Carbine and a
holster for pistol.
Earlier on
June 8, two Sudanese and a Filipino were arrested after 14
sachets of shabu was allegedly found in their possession at their boarding
house in Upper San Vicente. Arrested persons were identified as Sami Osman
y Saifeldin, 26, Mohamad Ali, 27, both students and Dan Hill
Calibuso 29, plumber and a resident of 49, Marcos Highway.
