Nueva Vizcaya ex-auditor arrested for shooting cops

ARITAO, Nueva Vizcaya — A former municipal auditor of Aritao was arrested in Barangay Quirino in Solano town Wednesday for indiscriminate firing and shooting cops who went to his house to investigate.
Alvin Edrinal, 39, fired his 9 mm pistol in front of his house at around 2:30 a.m., according to a report received by Maj. Ferdinand Laudencia, Solano police chief.
Laudencia said Edrinal, who was reportedly drunk shot responding police officers.
The suspect surrendered upon intercession of his partner.
Charges were prepared against the suspect.
Police have reported the province was moderately peaceful even as
three wanted persons were recently arrested in separate police operations in Cagayan and Nueva Vizcaya.
Police nabbed Rex Darilag Guiquing, 34, farmer of Zone 3, Barangay. Sisim, Penablanca, Cagayan for theft.
In Bambang Nueva Vizcaya, a certain Bernie Bareza, 40, single, laborer, of Hapid, Lamut, Ifugao and presently residing in Calaocan, Bambang was arrested for violation of Republic Act 6538.
In Sisim, Sisim, Penablanca, Cagayan, police arrested Gabriel Baggao Camarao, 22, single, construction worker and a resident of said place for reckless imprudence resulting to physical injuries and damage to property.
