CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet - Seven personnel of Police Regional Office Cordillera were awarded for commendable services while two offices were cited here on June 21.
Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee and PROCor command group presented the awards.
The Medalya ng Ugnayang Pampulisya was awarded to Lt. Col. Jonathan L. Chy and PCMS Gwendolyn Yodong for providing grocery items and packs of vegetable to five families and parishioners at San Jose Parish here at Barangay Buyagan.
The Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to Cpl Melody Paleng and Cpl Jolly Batoyog for serving as facilitators of psychosocial, psycho-spiritual fora last year to date in Cordillera police provincial offices.
Also, a certificate of recognition was awarded to the Regional Finance Service Office 15 for being adjudged the second time as cleanest office for the week.
Joining virtually the awarding ceremony, Mountain Province police provincial director Col. Ruben Andiso bestowed Medalya ng Kasanayan to SSg. Darel Bacwadang, SSg. Cristobal Adawe and Cpl Harison Panitew for deed transporting a pregnant woman to hospital with the use of blanket and bamboo pole traditionally called 'fulig'.
Medalya ng Kasanayan was also awarded to Barlig Municipal Police Station for improving and beautifying their station despite being located in a remote area.
This was received by PEMS Reynante Liwaden, the municipal executive Senior Police Officer.
