LAGAWE, Ifugao – A native of the tourist town
of Banaue is now the new provincial police director.
Col. James D. Mangili assumed the post during turn-over of command ceremony here at the provincial police office grounds Oct. 27.
The event was presided by Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. Ronald O. Lee E attended by government provincial and representatives of provincial line agencies, Provincial Advisory Council, town chiefs of police among others.
Mangili officially received the Ifugao PPO flag and inventory book from outgoing police provincial director Col. David D. Mariano to symbolize passing of authority and responsibilities of the position.
Mariano thanked provincial officials and Ifugao police for being supportive of his programs during his tenure.
Mangili acknowledged advocacies of the previous provincial police leadership and committed to carry on what his predecessor started to maintain peace and order in the province.
