In recognition of their achievement, the students received cash gifts from the provincial government, here Tuesday as they paid a courtesy call with Gov. Matthew Marcos Manotoc and other provincial officials.
Malvar, one of the coaches of the “mathletes,” expressed his gratitude to the provincial government, led by Gov. Manotoc, and the Provincial Education Office for their support particularly in terms of financial assistance, which has been instrumental in allowing the team to compete in the international level.
