CAMP DANGWA, La Trinidad, Benguet -- A total of P1,826,800 worth of
illegal drugs was seized while two drug personalities were arrested Nov. 26 to
Dec. 2, the regional police information office bared.
Records from the Regional Operations Division identified the two suspects as Bernard B. Pallay and Jaydee A. Espisa.
They were caught in possession of a gram of suspected shabu worth P6800.
The arrested suspects and confiscated items were brought to respective police arresting units.
Charges for violating the Republic Act 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, was prepared against the suspects.
This, as same report disclosed total of 7,300 pieces of fully grown marijuana plants and 3,000 stalks worth P1,820,000 were discovered in a marijuana eradication operation in Benguet.
These were all burned by lawmen after documentation while operations are being conducted to identify marijuana cultivators.
Police are reportedly conducting barangay visitations and information campaigns against illegal drugs.

26 to Dec. 2, the regional police information office bared.
Records from the Regional Investigation and Detective Management Division of Benguet Police Provincial Office bared arrest of six wanted persons, followed by the Baguio City Police Office with three, Abra PPO with two, Ifugao and Mountain Province PPOs with one arrest each.
Of these arrests, five were listed most wanted persons at municipal level. Meanwhile, as a result of the intensified police presence, 65 municipalities in Cordillera provinces, including three police stations in Baguio City recorded zero crime incidents in these areas during the same week.
Zero crime incidents were recorded in the 25 municipalities in Abra; nine towns in Benguet; five, Kalinga; nine, Ifugao; seven, Apayao; and 10 in Mountain Province.
In Baguio City, Camdas, Aurora Hill and Kennon police stations also recorded zero crime incidents out of the 10 police stations in the city.
