P100,000 reward up for three suspects in P’sinan exec’s slay

SAN MANUEL, Pangasinan – Police have released the artist’s sketches of three suspects in the June 20 gunslaying of the vice mayor here and a P100,000 reward is being offered for the arrest of each of them.

Senior Supt. Isagani Nerez, provincial police director, said in Lingayen, Pangasinan they hope the public will help authorities identify the three suspects to give justice to slain vice mayor Bonie Apilado.

Apilado’s driver-body-guard. Ricardo Clemente, survived the attack and is now under protective police custody.

The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group’s provincial office led by Supt. Manuel Velasco prepared artist’s sketches based on the descriptions of an eyewitness.

Apilado’s assassins, described to be in their mid 30s to 40s, are believed to be still hiding in the province.

Nerez said probers were following up good leads in the killing but refused to give details so as not to preempt ongoing investigation.
