2 ladies nabbed for drug pushing

SAN FERNANDO CITY -- Three female drug pushers were apprehended in separate anti-narcotics operations Feb. 10 at Agoo town and this city by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency regional office.

Aida Alabanza, 52 of San Joaquin Norte Agoo was arrested as she handed two sachets of shabu (Methamphetamine hydrochloride) valued at P500 to a PDEA agent who acted as a buyer. Listed under the PDEA’s order of battle, she had been under surveillance for almost a month before operatives moved in for her arrest.

PDEA agents also arrested Zolaica Dimasangcay y De Guzman at the San Fernando national highway along with her live in partner Erlie Ganuelas y Valdez as a drug transaction was consummated.

Six shabu sachets were confiscated worth more than P7,000.

It was later found out that Zolaica was under parole and has violated the terms and agreement of her temporary release.

Both will be charged for illegal drugs penalties of which upon conviction are life imprisonment and a fine that ranges from 500,000 to P10 million.
