BAGUIO CITY -- Official results released by the Commission on Elections on May 11, a day after the elections bared Mauricio Domogan received the highest number of votes for city mayor with 47, 374 votes.
According to the Comelec, votes for Domogan were evenly distributed from the tallied results from different precincts.
Following him with the highest vote count was Jose M. Molintas, with a total of 26, 712 votes.
Marquez Go ranked third with 21,072 votes, followed by Elaine Sembrano with4, 644; Ramon Labo, 3, 464; Julius Mandapat. 1, 416; Erlinda Busacay-Lazo, 276; Guillermo Hernandez, 265 votes; Peter Puzon, 66 and Ruben Barcelo, 55.
Domogan served as city mayor the previous years.
Daniel T. Farinas got the highest number of votes for vice mayor with a total of 55, 157 votes, followed by Faustino Olowan with 33, 438 and Carol Domalsin, 7, 205.
Bernardo Vergara topped the poll results for congressman, with a total of 27, 020 votes.
Nicasio Aliping meanwhile garnered the top slate for city councilor with 54, 648 votes.
Winners in the city council were lawyers Nick Aliping Jr, Betty Lourdes Tabanda, Elmer Datuin, Peter Fianza, Edgardo Bilog Jr., Richard CariƱo, Perlita Rondez, Fred Bagbagen, Erdolfo Balajadia, Nicasio Palaganas, engineer Isabelo Cosalan Jr. and Phillian Weygan.
