Gomez to sustain good governance

BONTOC, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE - Incumbent board member and gubernatorial candidate for Mountain Province Ezra Gomez intends to improve social and related services particularly on health and education.

Gomez gets backing from his previous works in having facilitated medical support and building of facilities. Gomez sourced donation of medical facilities from St. Luke’s Hospital and the US-based World Medical Relief, for use by Bontoc General Hospital and district hospitals of the province.

He also reached out to other institutions including Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) for medical support for the provincial hospitals. The three-term board member sourced out funds for improvement of hospital buildings including Natonin Community Hospital from Senator Loi Estrada; Barlig District Hospital from Senator Edgardo Angara and Sadanga –Ampawilen Clinic ,with Vice Mayor Dangiwan from Senator Edgardo Angara. The Bontoc General Hospital Mini Park - Phase 1 was built with support from Senator Tito Sotto. This, aside from other medical assistance to patients from other senators including Juan Ponce Enrile and Jinggoy Estrada.

Sustaining educational support is also seen by Gomez as a major platform he intends to continue. He gets credible backing from his previous works including the sourcing of fund support from Senator Franklin Drilon for the construction of Phase 1 of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College Library; and improvement of SPED building from Senator Ramon Revilla.

In his bid for the governorship, he wants to create opportunities for employment and other social needs through equitable access to government programs and strengthening partnerships and linkages with stakeholders. Reaching every barangay for their participation is a must.
