LAGAWE, Ifugao-Unidentified suspects recently carted away cash and electronic gadgets worth P40,000 at the Ifugao State University.
Town police chief Insp, Typon Acod said investigation disclosed around 11:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. on May 28,, lone security guard, Julian Bacnog went on patrol at the building and discovered the robbery.
Police said perpetrators carted away cash of about P28,000.00, a Nokia cellphone worth P2,000 from the Registrar’s Office and a Sony digital camera worth P11,000 at the campus director’s office.
Further investigation revealed the robbers cut the barb wire installed above the concrete fence around the school campus then went inside and cut the square bar window grills in one of the windows at the cashier’s office as their point of entry.
“Once inside they opened all the drawers of the tables in search of cash and valuables then forcibly entered the building,” Acod said.
Police are still investigating the case to determine the perpetrators.
