SAN GUILLERMO, Isabela – Another road mishap in this province claimed the lives of two persons and left 18 others injured when a 14-wheeler truck fell into a ravine in this town Wednesday morning.

One of the fatalities, Irene Carbonel, failed to jump off the truck before it plunged into the 20-meter ravine along the provincial road in Barangay San Mariano Sur.

Senior Insp. Charlemagne Tabije, San Guillermo police chief, said the other fatality, Eduardo Ancheta, was pinned by the truck as he was grazing his farm animals below the cliff.
