Ilocos Norte cop's 'missing' son found
By Charlie Lagasca
SAN NICOLAS, Ilocos Norte – A six-year-old son of a police colonel was found in an isolated area here July 7, both his hands tied and his mouth covered with packing tape.
Reports said the boy, soaking wet from the rain and cowering in fear, was found here in Barangay 24, hours after he reportedly went missing last Aug. 4.
The boy was reportedly hurriedly left in the village by men aboard a car amid a heavy downpour.
“We are still investigating the incident. Right now, we cannot still establish if there was really any actual kidnapping that took place,” said Ilocos Norte police director Senior Supt Marlou Chan.
