TESDA offers free certificates


LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority announced it will have free competency assessment and certification that will run this month until November this year.

TESDA Provincial Director Manuel Wong said the area of qualifications include construction, automotive and land transport, tourism, information technology, agriculture, metals and engineering, and electronics.

The agriculture and food processing sector was first scheduled on August 8 to 12 at the Pangasinan Technological Institute in Binmaley and at the Luciano Millan Memorial School of Arts and Trades in Asingan town, Wong said.

Other training and skills on schedule are: Automotive on August 22-26, LMMSAT, Provincial Training Center (PTC) and Pangasinan School of Arts and Trades(PSAT), both in Lingayen; land transport August 29 – September 2, by private assessments centers MhelBhen Motors and Wellcare institute of Science and Technology; Construction, September 12-16, LMMSAT and PSAT; information and communication technology, September 28-30, PTI, LMMSAT, PSAT and private Wellcare Institute and Bright International Special School;
Tourism, October 10-14, PTI, LMMSAT, PSAT, , Wellcare, Bright and OBC Learning and Assessment Center; electronics, October 24-28, PSAT, LMMSAT; metals and engineering, November 14-18, PTC, LMMSAT, PSAT, PTI. -- LBI
