BAGUIO CITY A – A jobless man was
arrested here by narcotics agents July 10 around 11 p.m. near the Barangay
Fairview hall with two sachets of shabu.
The agents identified the suspect as
Vener B. “Kayat” Montilla , 39, of Bauko, Mountain Province, resident of
Sunflower Homes, Alno La Trinidad, Benguet.
Agents of the Philippine Drug
Enforcement Agency – Cordillera Administrative Region nailed Montilla in the
sting operation, wherein he peddled .08 grams of shabu for P2,000 to a PDEA
agent.
A PDEA report said the transaction with one of their agents
earlier, but the suspect reset it saying he got some visitors he needed to
“serve” first.
Montilla charged before the
city prosecutor’s office for illegal drugs.
