Town hall janitor shot dead in Ilocos

CAMP PRES QUIRINO, Ilocos Sur – Unidentified armed men shot dead Wednesday a municipal hall janitor in an ambush along the road in Barangay Namnama, Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

Reports sent by Senior Inspector Arsenio Ramos, Sinait town’s chief of police, identified the victim as Rolly Bautista,  janitor of Sinait town hall and resident from Barangay Namnama.

Police probers said the victim was then going home aboard his bicycle when, upon reaching a dark portion in the area,  he was suddenly shot by the suspects carrying  Carbine rifle.

 Police recovered six empty shells at the crime scene.

 The victim was hit in the different parts of his body causing his instant death.

 Police are still investigating the case.
