One of Isabela conjoined twins has heart problem

ILAGAN CITY – There’s good news and bad news about the physical condition of the conjoined twins born at the Isabela Provincial Hospital here last Oct. 26.

First, Johanna and Jhona Cabauatan each have a heart of their own and separating them is possible.

The bad news though is that Johanna has congenital heart failure.

Dr. Felimon Donato, hospital chief, said the twins are still at the intensive care unit, as their condition has to improve before they are referred to the Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
