URDANETA CITY – The chief examiner of the Bureau of Internal Revenue in this city was gunned down in front of this house night of March 4.
Jose Labonete, 46, was
shot three times with a .9mm pistol, said Supt. PaquitoNavarette, city police
chief.
The suspects
reportedly had a drinking session near Labonete’s house at City Homes
Subdivision in Barangay Nancayasan, Urdaneta City to wait for the victim’s
arrival, Navarette said.
Investigators found
four shells and a slug of a .9mm pistol at the scene.
Police are still
investigating the motive for the ambush.
