Free summer med services set in city



BAGUIO CITY –Free health and other community services will be held in this mountain resort this summer  as the heat of the campaign period is at its peak.

The special services division of the mayor’s office will hold free medical, dental and community services in different barangays of the city.

Activities for the Pasada this summer started with  free “Operation Tuli” April 6 at the Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

The PasadangPambarangay also visited Upper Market on April 12.

The Pasada will also visit Victoria Village on April 19, City Camp Central on April 26, Loakan Proper on May 3 and Leonila Hill on May 10.

Services will start at exactly 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Actively participating in the Pasadang Pambarangay are the Department of Health, Center for Health Development, Association of Barangay Councils, Department of Interior and Local Government City Field Office, Police Regional Office-Cordillera, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Baguio City Police Office, Philippine National Red Cross-“Baguio Chapter, Philippine Dental Association-Baguio Chapter, Philippine Military Academy and Baguio General Hospital and Medical Center.

Other include National Commission on Indigenous People, Department of Agriculture, Salinas Optical, Baguio City for Young Adults, University of Baguio Para Legal Services and dental students, BENECO, TESDA, National Statistics Office, Save Our Women, Inc., Philhealth, Philippine Postal Corporation, Comelec, Department of Education, Department of Trade and Industry, Anti-Child Abuse Network, Reflexology Association of the Philippines, Traditional Medicine Inc., City Disaster Coordinating Council and other government and non-government organizations and offices.

The Pasadang Pambarangay’s regular Friday activities will be undertaken on different barangays as scheduled.
