Pangasinan – A former board member of the 4th District, concurrent provincial
Health officer and head of Mapandan
Community Hospital was shot dead here Wednesday. Supt. Ferdinand “Bingo “ de
Asis, Pangasinan police spokesman, said
48-year-old Dr. Jeremy Agerico Rosario was driving his car about 7 p.m. when
two motorcycle-riding gunmen shot him along the provincial road here at
Barangay Baritao.
Despite
sustaining a bullet wound on his left shoulder, the victim was able to maneuver
his vehicle and return back to MCH.
He
was later transferred to Nazareth Hospital in Dagupan City, for further
treatment.
Responding
Manaoag police recovered from the crime scene, one cartridge case believed to
be from a .45 caliber pistol.
