PRC opens registration for new nurses in NL


BAGUIO CITY --  The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced  initial registration for  new nurses who  passed the November 2015 nursing licensure examination is now open at  its Baguio regional office, here.
PRC regional director Teofilo Gaius Sison Jr. said the PRC will process  registration on first come, first served basis and no alphabetical queuing.
Registrants are required to bring duly accomplished oath form, 2016 community tax certificate (cedula), two pieces passport-size picture with white background and spelled out nametag (surname, first name, middle name), one documentary stamp,  and initial registration fee of P1,050.00.
Sison said in order to save on travel time and expenses in going to Baguio, new nurses can also take advantage of the PRC mobile services.  On Feb. 6, PRC will be at the provincial cvpitol auditorium of Laoag City from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. At the    My Metro Town Mall of Tarlac City, it will be held 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On Feb. 11, PRC will be at CandonIlocos Sur city hall from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb.13’schedule is at the University of Pangasinan Student Center in Dagupan City and in Cabanatuan City.
PRC announcement showed  9,114 out of 18,500 examinees or 49 percent hurdled the November 2015 NLE including 1,498 passers who took the exam in testing centers in Baguio City, Dagupan, Cabanatuan and Laoag handled by PRC Baguio Regional Office. -- Carlito Dar
