Top Cordillera civil service exams passers known


BAGUIO CITY – A total of 669 in the Cordillera or 13.53 percent passed the professional level out of 4,274 while 143 or 13.70 % of the 1,044 examinees of the sub-professional level civil service examinations.
These represent the actual number of examinees who took the career service examinations on Dec. 6, 2015 in four testing centers in CAR: Baguio City; Bangued, Abra, Lagawe, Ifugao and Luna, Apayao.
Melrose S. Dela Cruz from Cordillera topped overall professional level with a rating of 89.07 percent while Kenneth Ian Robles landed 4th with a rating of 88.35 percent.
In the subprofessional level, Joshua Samuel Lavarias of Cordillera placed 10th overall with a rating of 86.45 percent.
In the Cordillera, the top-ten passers of the Dec. 6, 2015 CSE professional exam were:

Macwes (87.17) SLU, Angelica S. Melecio (87.12) SLU, Hazel F. Luy (86.81) SLU, Alodia Rei B. Leung (86.73) UP, and Lovely Mae N. Padduyao (86.59) UC.
For the CSE-PPT (sub-professional), the top-ten passers in CAR are the following: Joshua Samuel T. Lavarias (86.45) SLU, KritzelNyll G. Anga-angan (86.22) CSU, Ian Carlo G. Bulosan (85.96) SLU, Sherry Ann H. Manganip (85.67) SLU, John Russel G. Alejo (85.41) SLU, Faith K. Tungod (85.40) UP, Demi Lynn C. Fianza (85.16) UC, Lilia B. Wacangan (85.14) BSU, Bendix P. Daluyen (84.64) UB, and Lloyd Ashley L. Lundang (84.43) SLU.
The passers will be conferred the corresponding civil service professional and subprofessional eligibilities.
The professional eligibility, among other qualification requirements, shall be appropriate for permanent appointment to both first level (clerical) and second level (technical) positions in the career service that do not involve practice of profession and are not covered by other special laws.
The subprofessional eligibility shall be appropriate only to first level positions in the government that include clerical, trades, crafts, and custodial service positions.
The complete list of successful examinees of the December 6, 2015 career service Professional and SubProfessional examinations is available at the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph.
The CSC said examinees may now generate their individual test results using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can be accessed also through the CSC website.
The next schedule of the career service written examinations will be on April 17. Filing of application is ongoing until February 26, 2016. Applicants should personally file their applications at the CSC Regional Office (CSCRO), or at any of the concerned CSCRO’s Field Offices, where they intend to take the examination. The test centers in CAR are Baguio City, Bangued, Abra, Bontoc, Mt. Province and Tabuk City.
A total of 5,982 or 10.92 percent out of 54,777 examinees nationwide passed professional and subprofessional CSEs, held Dec. 6, 2015.
The examinations cover affected areas of the country where the exams were suspended on Oct. 18, 2015 due to Typhoon Lando.
Of said figure, 4,899 passed the professional  while 1,083 passed the subprofessional.

 The CSC said these represent 10.78 percent and 11.62 percent of the total number of examinees in the professional and subprofessional levels of the career service examinations respectively.
