Union -- – Four persons, including three
members of a family, died in separate vehicular accidents in Ilocos Sur on Dec.
10.
Rogelio Garduque, 35;
his wife Rosemarie, 30, and their eight-year-old daughter Kyle were declared
dead on arrival at a hospital.
Chief Insp. William
Nerona, spokesman for the provincial police, said the Garduques were traveling
in Barangay Nepo, Magsingal town when their motorcycle collided with a sport
utility vehicle driven by Mary Ronaly Agati, 21.
Reports said Agati
lost control of the wheel.
On the same day,
Armando Ramos, 36, died when his motorcycle fell into a creek in Barangay
Gabur, Tagudin town.
Ramos’ companion Ricky
Fabro, 33, was rushed to the Tagudin District Hospital for treatment.
In Baguio City, 19
persons were injured in a collision involving two trucks in Barangay Suello.
Truck drivers Ranny
Abedejas, 46, and Garme Bañarez, 32, were taken to the Baguio City General
Hospital and Medical Center for treatment.
Aside from them, 17
construction workers, who were on board Bañarez truck, were taken to the same
hospital for treatment of injuries.
