SADANGA,
Mountain Province -- A former member of the Citizens Armed Force Geographical
Units who was tagged in the killing of his commandant was arrested in here
Thursday.
Senior Supt. Tellio Ngo-is, provincial police
director, said Antonio Cassiw Jr., 43, was collared at his house in Barangay
Saclit.
Cassiw was accused of killing Sgt. Jerry
Cuntapay in an eatery in Sitio Opucan, Barangay Poblacion following an
altercation on Dec. 6, 2014.
Ngo-is said Cassiw is facing murder charges
before the Bontoc regional trial court.
Judge Sergio Angnganay Jr. has not
recommended any bail for Cassiw.
