By Gina Dizon

SAGADA, MOUNTAIN PROVINCE- A visitor working in a call center in Makati recovered her missing purse containing an  IPhone7 cellphone, P16,000, ATM cards, IDs, and other important documents from a tourist guide here.
The guide who asked for  anonymity and a member of the Sagada Environmental Guides Association (SEGA) found the purse of Adeline Gomez, 33 at the environs of the tourist-frequented Mission Compound January 4.
Gomez who was still around by January 6  was able to  recover her valuables from the guide who asked her questions to match her answers with items found in the purse.
The guide who refused to be identified said Gomez thanked him much for being able to recover her lost  purse with all  IDs, cards, IPhone and money intact.
The guide said other four persons wanted to get hold of the missing items but were not able to match details found in the purse.

Mayor James Pooten said the necessary recognition shall be accorded to the tourist guide saying that the act done by the guide tells Sagada is a safe place for tourists to visit.
