TUGUEGARAO CITY –
A 70-year-old man was arrested last week for hacking his neighbor to death in a
duel last year.
Iguig town police
chief Senior Insp. Avelino Canceran said Maximiano Pader was arrested in
Barangay Manaoag after Regional Trial Court Judge Jezarene Aquino issued a
warrant for homicide.
Witnesses alleged that
victim Reynaldo Bruno was drunk when he challenged everyone in their
village to a duel, which Pader accepted. – Raymund Catindig
