Six drug suspects busted in Cagayan, P’sinan, La Union

 SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union -- Two drug suspects in Cagayan and two others in Pangasinan and La Union were arrested by police on Monday and Tuesday.
In Solana, Cagayan , Sherley Costudio, 44, was arrested about Tuesday afternoon in Barangay Centro South East, Solana, for selling one sachet of suspected shabu.
Kristian Denus , 28, was arrested on the same day in Barangay Roma Sur, Enrile, Cagayan for possession of one heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance, believed to be shabu.
In Pangasinan, two individuals on the illegal drugs watchlist of Lingayen were arrested during an entrapment operation in Barangay Tampac, Aguilar.
Sr. Insp. Arturo Melchor, identified the arrested suspects as Benjie Rodriguez, 26, and his cohort Dennis Aguilando, 36, both residents of Lingayen.
Following an entrapment operation Monday afternoon, the police recovered from the suspects a loaded .38 caliber revolver, a marked R1,000 bill, a motorcycle and three sachets of shabu.
Meanwhile in La Union, the police arrested Floro Arteme, 31, and Jay-Ar Anunsacion, 32.
Arteme yielded a loaded .38 caliber revolver, while Anunsacion yielded 4 sachets of shabu and drug-using paraphernalia.
The suspects were detained pending the filing of appropriate charges. -- With a report from Erwin G. Beleo
