3 including gov’t employee, businessman nabbed in raid

SAN CARLOS CITY, Pangasinan –– Three persons were arrested including a government employee and a businessman during raid conducted by joint operatives of San Carlos Police, Calasiao Police, Malasiqui and Basista Police together with the SWAT team here at Barangay Cruz.

A report gathered from the office of Supt. Ferdinand de Asis, chief of police of San Carlos revealed that around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday raiding team simultaneously implemented three separate Search Warrant No. 112-018, 113-018 and 111-018 for Violation of RA 10591 (illegal possession of firearms and ammunitions) issued by Mervin Jovito S. Samadan, acting presiding judge, RTC First Judicial Region, Branch 70, Burgos, Pangasinan dated July 10, 2018 in the house and premises of the suspects.

Suspect Romberto Galvez, 52 , government employee, was arrested  wherein the following were confiscate from his house: one piece magazine of Cal. 45 pistol, seven pieces of live ammunition of Cal. 45 and four pieces live ammunition of Cal.  9mm.

Leonardo Galvez , 46 ,farmer, was also nabbed. Seized from him were a shotgun, two pieces Cal. 45 magazine assembly loaded with nine live ammunition each magazine, five pieces live ammunition for shotgun and a holster.

Mario Galvez Jr ,48, businessman was also arrested. Fund in his possession were a Cal. 38 revolver with serial number 34-9069, five live ammunition of Cal. 38 with holster, one magazine of M16 and 15 live ammunition of M16.

All arrested suspects were all resident of Barangay Cruz.

All will be facing charges in court, according to police.
