PNP provides relief goods to Ifugao indigent families


BANAUE, Ifugao -- Police provided aid to indigent families in barangays amid implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) due to Covid-19 virus. 
More than a dozen families received assorted relief goods from three municipal police stations and Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company from their voluntary contributions. 
The Banaue Municipal Police Station brought half sack of rice and assorted groceries each to two families at barangays Poblacion and Amganad.  
Kiangan police served three families at Baangay Duit. 
Hungduan police and the Ifugao Provincial Mobile Force Company trekked hilly trails for hours to deliver assorted goods to target recipients.
Food was given to the family of an elder with disability at sitio Amamugon, Abatan in Hungduan.
Four families residing at barangay Maggok, Hungduan and seven at Ubao, Aguinaldo received 10 kilos of rice and assorted groceries each delivered to their respective doorstep by personnel of the IPMFC.
More indigent families will be given relief assistance by the various municipal police stations funded through voluntary donations of police personnel as a help to these families.
Relief assistance is past of  the Philippine National Police’s nationwide project dubbed "Adopt a Family" program  that aims to help families who are most in need and supply them with their basic food commodities during the state of the Luzon-wide lockdown. (JDP/MBL-PIA CAR, Ifugao)
