CAMP DANGWA, La
Trinidad, Benguet – Cordillera police director Brig. Gen. R’win Pagkalinawan said 161 wanted
persons along with top 10 were nabbed in the region last month.
Lumipas J. Eway 60, and Christian D. Eway, 28, both farmers,
Kalinga’s top most wanted at no. 7 and 8, respectively, were captured in their
residences in Dangoy, Lubuagan town July 23.
They were wanted for
murder with no bail recommended by Judge Marcelino Wacas of RTC Branch 25,
Bulanao, Tabuk City.
Heherson Mala Palangdao was apprehended in Sitio Banilag,
Poblacion, Paracelis, Mountain Province on July 25 for rape with no bail
recommended by Judge Romeo U. Habiling of RTC Branch 15, Alfonso Lista, Ifugao.
Davis Daguyen Dapiaoen aka “Manoy” was arrested in
Saitan, Pugo, La Union on July 24 for rape with no bail recommended.
Daryl Jean Mae Capirayan Aparte, was arrested for theft in Interior
Balacbac, Baguio City on July 25 with bail of P40, 000 issued by Judge Rufus G.
Malecdan of RTC Branch 60, Baguio City.
Tadashi Baglinit
Caguay was arrested in Purok 6, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga on July 22.
He was sued for
violation of RA 9262 (violence against women and children) with bail set at P40,000.
He was also charged
for violation of Presidential Decree 603 with bail of P90,000 issued by Judge
Ivan Kim B. Morales of RTC Branch 59, Baguio City.
Pagkalinawan said
highest performing police office was Baguio City Police Office with 62 arrests followed by Benguet
PPO with 34; Abra, 23; Kalinga, 17; Ifugao, 15; Apayao-6; and Mountain Province with four arrests.
