CABUGAO, Ilocos Sur -- A police officer
tagged in the killing of a 15-year-old girl here last July has been dismissed
from the service.
S/Sgt. Randy Ramos was dismissed for conduct unbecoming of an officer, according to the Ilocos police Internal Affairs Services (IAS).

The rape charge filed
by the cousin of the fatality against Ramos was dismissed after the victim did
not file a sworn complaint.
The IAS said
investigation of the acts of lasciviousness complaint that the 15-year-old
filed against S/Sgt. Marawi Torda is ongoing.
The two police
officers allegedly shot the victim after she and her cousin filed the
complaints at the Cabugao police station.
The victims were
arrested by the respondents for violating curfew rules after the girls attended
a party in San Juan town.
